CarPlay and backup camera retrofits for factory head units

A retrofit interface sits between your car's original radio and its own wiring. It adds wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink to the screen the car already has, and feeds a backup or front camera into the same display. Nothing is cut, nothing is coded, and the kit can be unplugged before a lease return.

Audi: three factory radios, three kits

Audi shipped three infotainment families. Concert or Symphony is the base radio — it came bare, with no camera and no CarPlay at all, so a backup camera is part of that build. MMI 3G was the top system until 2016. MIB and MIB II run from 2016 to 2025. One interface per family; the wrong family will not fit.

When you need a camera and when you don't

Many Audi built from 2014 already left the factory with a reverse camera, and the interface works with it as-is. Add our OEM-style camera — built into the trunk handle, with dynamic guidance lines — only if the car has none. On Concert and Symphony cars it is always needed.
