Description
Universal camera can be attached as the front or rear view camera on any vehicles. The camera is great for cars with grills where a special cameras cannot be fitted. For example Audi A4/A5 B8 (models 2008-2011); Audi S4, RS4, RS5, Q5, RSQ5 grills, most of Mercedes Models, Mazda CX-9, CX-5 with a new logo). Please note the installation requires pre drilling 2 small holes for the screws to attach the camera's adjustable bracket.
The camera allows you to see objects in front of the car and makes your parking much easier. Compatible with all our camera interfaces. This camera will not work with OEM LCD by itself, you need to have CarsGadget Backup Camera Interface or Smart Multimedia Interface installed in your car first.

The videos show the whole job start to finish on a real car, so you can see exactly what it takes before you buy. If you would rather not do it yourself, any car audio shop can fit it.

How to order
- 1Confirm your head unit. The kit is built for one radio family. Check the screen against the identification guide, or enter your VIN above and we narrow it down by model year.
- 2Decide about the camera. See the panel above: on a base radio you need one, on MMI 3G and MIB many cars already have it.
- 3Order. USA — USPS Priority, free. Canada — USPS Priority International, $30. Rest of the world — DHL Express, $107.
- 4Install it. Plug and play: the harness sits between the factory radio and its plug. No coding, no cut OEM wires, fully reversible. Watch a full install before you start.

Questions about this kit
Will this work with my head unit?
It is built for Works with any CarsGadget interface only. If your screen shows a different system, a different kit in the Accessories range is the right one — the fitment guide tells you which.
Do I lose the factory features?
No. Radio, media, navigation and the factory camera (if fitted) keep working. The interface adds an input rather than replacing the head unit.
Is it reversible?
Yes. The module plugs in behind the radio. Unplug it and the car is back to stock.
Can I install it myself?
It is plug and play: the harness sits between the factory radio and its plug, nothing is coded and no OEM wire is cut. The install videos show the whole job on a real car. Any car audio shop can also fit it.
What if it arrives faulty?
Every unit is bench-tested at the factory before it ships. If something is wrong with it, tell us and we exchange it within 30 days. The product carries a 1-year warranty.
Which camera do I need?
On Concert and Symphony you always need one, the car left the factory without it. On MMI 3G and MIB many cars from 2014 already have a camera and the kit will use it.
