The camera is in the boxThis kit ships with the interface and an OEM-style camera built into the trunk handle, the same shape as the factory part. Nothing else to buy.
Measure your trunk handle before you orderMercedes used several trunk handles across the range, so the camera comes in five housings (Type 1 to Type 5) plus a licence-plate-light version. GLK takes Type 1; C W204, C W205, CLA, CLS, ML W166 and A-Class take Type 2; GLA, GLC and GLE take Type 3. Send us a photo of your handle with the year and model and we confirm the type before it ships.

    Decide about the camera. See the panel above: on a base radio you need one, on MMI 3G and MIB many cars already have it.

    Order. USA — USPS Priority, free. Canada — USPS Priority International, $30. Rest of the world — DHL Express, $107.

Questions about this kit

Will this work with my head unit?

It is built for COMAND or Audio20 NTG 5.0 · 5.1 only. If your screen shows a different system, a different kit in the Mercedes-Benz range is the right one — the fitment guide tells you which.

Do I lose the factory features?

No. Radio, media, navigation and the factory camera (if fitted) keep working. The interface adds an input rather than replacing the head unit.

Is it reversible?

Yes. The module plugs in behind the radio. Unplug it and the car is back to stock.

Can I install it myself?

It is plug and play: the harness sits between the factory radio and its plug, nothing is coded and no OEM wire is cut. The install videos show the whole job on a real car. Any car audio shop can also fit it.

What if it arrives faulty?

Every unit is bench-tested at the factory before it ships. If something is wrong with it, tell us and we exchange it within 30 days. The product carries a 1-year warranty.

Which camera do I need?

On Concert and Symphony you always need one, the car left the factory without it. On MMI 3G and MIB many cars from 2014 already have a camera and the kit will use it.
